Jill that poem is amazing I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" it and use it and share it with my friends.
yay got my military id ladies
I love you, Ladies! Funny how we are complete strangers, yet have a bond and a respect for each other, that some people will never know. Hopefully each of you will find comfort today as we continue to wait for your news. Please know that I have each of you in my heart! Hugs!!
Maybe today...I hope so...my mailman thinks I'm stalking him.
jill- what a nice poem
AMEN!
Ladies, Thank you all for your encouraging words. It's good to be reminded that God loves my son more than I do, that He hasn't forgotten him and that he hasn't forgotten me either. What a great thing it is to remember how high and deep and long and wide the love of God is - big enough to cover all of them and all of us. It's not an accident that things have happened the way they have. I believe my son is right where God wants him to be, at the right time and with the right people. We just have to be patient and persevere. All that said, I am really hoping for a letter, tomorrow if possible :)
God is indeed good GoldenGator...and He does answer prayer....and I know He is standing watch over us! I can say this with confidence because. I am the secretary for my church and not 15 minutes after reading your post a lady walked into my office and handed me the following Poem:
A.S.A.P.
Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally, we think of it in terms of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way.
There’s work to do, deadlines to meet;
You’ve got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry—
A.S.A.P. – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
In the midst of family chaos,
“Quality time” is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest—
A.S.A.P. – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather—
A.S.A.P. – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He’ll respond to all your needs—
A.S.A.P. – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
Ladies life isn’t always easy or fair, but I believe God just let me know that he is standing watch and He is answering our prayers!
Nothing yet. Is ship 11 being punished? Yikes, don't want to think about that....maybe saving the best for last before they call and write home. LOL :)
