Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Joyceann - I can eat my share and somebody elses, but the boys still outdo me, hands down.

Comment by Cat(Mom of an AO) on January 25, 2011 at 4:45pm: Sandy, Taqueria Toluca's (Mexican Rest) has this enormous dish to feed the whold family for 50 bucks. It comes out on this big dish with all kinds of seafood and crab legs. I wanted to get it but but everyone else wanted other things. Could not eat it all by myself. Their # is 847-244-7851

Comment by SANDY ship07div056 on January 25, 2011 at 4:38pm: Joyceann - My husband (sons stepdad) and my son love to eat crablegs! Any time those two have crablegs together its a mess. They try to outdo each other. 320 lbs versus 200 lbs. The legs are piled high and the shells are piled higher. Atleast 3 foot around the table is shameful!

Its on our "to-do" list!

Captains Cup, best friend, letters & pic and what do you want me to bring to you. (My Sailor will give me all his letters to take back home so he does not have to throw away or take to A school)
