Penny- oh no honey your not rude...i just want him to get some extra vitamin c before we come so that he does not catch her cold! i dont want to send him to pcola sick...especially since he just got over one! Plus there is a bunch of stuff i have to ask him for benifit perposes...but he used the last hour on his phone card to call his mother, and told her that he was not going to get another card because he didnt see the point. i sent him a message on facebook hoping and praying to god he checks it, but so far nothing. so i was hoping if one of his shipmates from his div called, that they would pass the message for him to buy another card and call home!

As far as the restaurants (all suggested by Sarge)

Breakfast and Brunch: Wildberry 1783 N. Milwaukee 847-247-7777

i did not eat here but all the others Sarge suggested I went to and I'm kinda sad I did'nt get a chance to try this one

Trattoria Pomigliano- AMAZING ITALIAN FOOD! Made my a little italian lady who reminded me of my nona. 602 N. Milwaukee Ave. 847-247-2208. Price is great and they don't charge a sailor to eat. They gave my son a free dinner.

Taqiuria Toluca's- Mexican. FUN FUN FUN. Food and drinks are great and the price is right!  822 10th St. Waukgen 847-244-7851. They also have a singer.

Punkinbaby, first off, I hope that somebody there can send a message but second, he can always go to the NEX and get another phone card.  They are cheaper there and last longer.  I am sure if he is given an opportunity to call he will be able to get a card...hoping and praying he will call you.  But at the same time, and not to be rude, do you want him worrying about your daughter or concentrate on getting through boot camp.  Again, I'm not trying to be rude or mean, really, I'm not.

Ha--drive the elevator!  I'll be a passenger on that one!  Thank goodness I am staying at the Ramada too, sounds like it's gonna be a barn burner!
