Arwen, former Navy, married to Navy, and the mom of a sailor, had said that sometimes, they do not go through BattleStations with their brother division.  Said her son's division didn't in Dec 2009.  That was news to me since after doing BattleStations schedules on this site for about 8 mos or more, I had never seen them go without their brother division.  But as gvnavydad said, there is NOTHING abolute in the Navy.  And their job is to make sure they produce sailors.  So the fact that it sounds like no one heard from a sailor in 55 yesterday makes it seem like they didn't go through with 56.  So hoping that calls come in today from 55, and that you "55" ladies can finally get some rest!  Please post why they didn't go through with 56.  Maybe, as gvnavydad said, it was because they had not finished their testing?  I would be curious to know so that I know how to advice future groups.

A BIG HOOYAH to all divisions who probably just finished up BattleStations!

KLP- If your husband already has a report date to San Diego, I suggest next week he work on getting you guys on the list for base housing. There is at least a month wait out there to get base housing, (my sister and her husband are stationed out there on the Kurtz). Depending on how many dependants you have, and if you have an animal or not will depend on what type of housing you get. You should google lincoln military housing, they do the housing in San Diego for the Navy!!!!

TODAY IS THE DAY!  This is going to be a happening site once the calls start coming in from four divisions!

Hold on to your hats folks...the Crazy Train is pulling into the station for it's final stop!  Only three days till we see our SAILORS!

I can't imagine the whole division being held back by a few. I would think they would hold back the few. All of our recruits here could not have all been still trying to pass tests because they would have already called us previously with failing grades. We were all told that if they ever failed a a test they would be allowed a phone call home. I don't know about everyone, but I have not received one of those calls. It HAS to be that we were scheduled all along for tonight.

Thank you, do you know if the Vinson is still in San Diego, I know it was recently? I am hoping at some point my son will make it back to California, though it will be a while. Hard to beat San Diego...that is one of our favorite vacation spots.
