Congratulations to our div 56 sailors!!!!! Div 55 your calls will start soon.

The calls for div 054 started earlier. I got my call at 2:12 p.m. EST which was 1:12 p.m. GL time.

Sorry to hear that one recruit has to do it over again, but I am certain he will pass it when he goes back through.

3 more days!!!!!!!  Hooyah!!

I am asking for prayers again because I live in Massachusetts and they are predicting a snow storm for Wed/Thurs. My flight leaves Thurs morning. I am praying that it is not delayed or cancelled. They don't understand I need to get to Chicago. I don't know what I would do if I missed my son's graduation. {{{Prayers}}}} because I am panicking.

Honestly...they have said that it often goes into the evening many times on the Recruit Facebook page. Lots have parents have asked about this same situaton there before. Hang in there!

Now, if they do this tommorrow...somebody is going to pay. :-)

Praying for calls to start coming through! Let's go 55!!!  I feel so anxious for all of you right now!

As far as the questions about guests.  When my son called Friday, we talked about this, because my oldest sons girlfriend is now going to go with us.  She is not on the list.  He said that they told them that there will be enough room, that they probably won't even have to worry with the 4 person minimum, so he was going to be able to get her on his list that day~ no problem.  I've also read on RTC page on facebook, that there are as many as 13 groups on one graduation day, so this group is really small.  If they have space for that many, then there should be plenty of space for them to get in, even if they are not on the list.  I wouldn't panic.

I saw someone ask about being on a list for PIR and not knowing the name of the sailor. Just go anyway and tell them that you are an extra guest. Go in with the others in your group and chances are you won't even have to wait to be seated.

No sherry we got ours in the day, but they did not have to go pay for pictures or have any practices or anything. they may have went to eat first and are marching back to call..........

I know...me too!  I know there calls started earlier as well, so maybe what Gvnavydad is saying is true.  Maybe they had to stop for PIR rehearsal or dinner or something!!!  Praying hard that is what is happening!
Comment by gvnavydad-ship011div057 on January 24, 2011 at 7:20pm
I have read before that it is not uncommon to have it go into the evening before the call. Especially if they decide to hold a PIR practice rehearsal.
