Finally received my daughters form letter on Thursday! She is ship 09 dive 179...unfortunately I don't know anyone that maybe in this division with her. I have not received any phone calls from her...so I am assuming that no new is good news! I put a letter in the mail this morning and I hope to hear from her soon!

Abbi'mom, my daughter left by herself from OH on May 4th. She is doing great. It is tough especially when you are waiting for your first call. Just keep that phone by you at all times. They call so randomly and it would break your heart to miss a call. It is a crazy ride, but fun to share with all the moms on here. Welcome!

My daughter just left today for the Navy...she is currently at BWI  airport and she is the only female shipping today. I don't really know anyone that has another daughter from PA that was leaving today. It was tough watching the bus leave and waving good bye.

cat-good luck to you and your daughter-it will be a journey!. My daughter left for bootcamp two years ago on Thursday and is now station out of Japan. Miss her terribly, but so proud.

My future sailor is now officially a SR! She just swore in at MEPS and waiting for the bus to take them to Chicago.... She is so glad that they are bussing in instead of flying because now she will now be able to get about 5 hours of sleep. Instead of the none on the 45 min flight.

Janai's mom-my daughter is also on the Ashland. She is an OS3 and has been there since July 2012
