Thank you to all of the moms for their encouraging words.I do however wish I read the posting from Connie earlier. I was so excited to get my daughters address and finally send her my letters...I sent hem all at once.. Now I hope she does'nt get into trouble with her RDC..I should have been more patient. I appreciate all the help with this adventure.

mom3angels- It will get easier, eventually, until then it will be a roller coaster ride of emotions.  Hang in there, send your daughter encouraging letters, it will help you as well as her.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to update and find out if any else's sailor is leaving with my sailor girl. She will be on the Carter Hall LSD. She is leaving to meet the ship tomorrow. She will be a CSR (I think that is how u say it). Probably be gone for 6-8 months. For all new moms, my sailor has finished bootcamp and culinary school. If u have any questions, let me know.

welcome new moms! this is a crazy time for you and your daughters. Start writing those letters and check in with bootcamp moms group too. My daughter was also in a 900 division and I was able to catch a few pictures from the two previous PIR groups because they perform with them-at least she did.

abbyq'smom-yes all our girls are something else-so proud of them all. Mine is on an LSD stationed in Japan and I have plenty of missing her moments but I usually just well up now and then instead of an all out cry!
