Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by SoCal Ohana on February 23, 2013 at 10:11am: My daughters PIR is 4/5 then A school in Pcola - not sure what her first choice will be - Perhaps Washington, CA or HI- she will be AD. I am sure her choices will be limited because of whatever type of aircraft she is trained on

Comment by le85(MC/Rota) on February 20, 2013 at 5:43pm: My daughter graduates from A school March 7th she graduated boot camp at the end of August. She has to report for duty March 31 Rota, Spain. I am so excited for her, what an incredible journey she is embarking on. For those of you just beginning boot camp, hang in there, that was a really tough 8 weeks for me. She graduated high school and 2 weeks later was gone. We survived and communication while at A school has been a blessing. Best wishes to all and will keep you in my prayers.
