NavyMom,
What a beautiful picture!!! You should share that with the other Moms of Daughters also. It looks like you have one beautiful piece of property.

Hope your Christmas was nice!! I got to watch my daughter in WA open her presents by Skype. It was cool seeing her face as she opened each one!!! Got to talk to all my kids but shared the day with hubby and one daughter.

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful Navy Mom friends from northern Ohio. Cold and rainy with lots of wind!! Just above freezing!
God Bless all our service members wherever they may be - fair winds and following seas!!!!

Where will your daughter be stationed? My daughter is on the Essex out of Sasebo Japan. Her ship is an amphibious assault, so when out to sea and fully loaded there are about 1,200 sailors and 1,800 marines and their equipment.

Hi Moms of Navy daughters, We are enjoying a Green Christmas here in the foothills of the Sierra mountains, but the mountains do have snow on them, which is perfect. My sailor was tried of the cold @ GL and wants a sunny California Christmas, which she will get, as no rain/snow is forecast until after Christmas. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. If your sailor can't be with you, I thank you for your sacrifice, my prayers are with you and all our sailors. Navy Huggs ~ Vicky

Marianne,
That all sounds so good!! I won't get to see either of my sailors this holiday but I will be spending Christmas with one daughter and we'll spend New Years with my oldest son. My hubby is on his way here now!!!

I just finished the last of the baking that Katie wanted while she is home for Christmas....caramel rolls for Christmas Eve morning, spritz & molasses cookies, fudge....then there were some meals she wanted too. Bet there's a request for caramel corn and a last movie night together on Christmas before she leaves the AM of the 26th.

Have a wonderful Christmas...Blessings to all.

Cindy,
How wonderful - enjoy your holidays with your sailor girl. And wish her a happy birthday from me!!!! Will she be staying home until she gets orders?
