Dear Pat,
Thanks for taking over this group. Hi to all the Moms. I have been on N4Ms sice May when my middle daughter Chrissy left for BC. She is now in A school at GL. I am glad that there are more women in the miltary now, and I am very proud of her. She is a single Mom. Anyone who has a daughter that is a single Mom? I would like to compare notes with you! The Navy has been giving my daughter the run around about her son's custody issue and I am very upset.

Hi Pat Thank You for inviting me.
My daughter Katie is on the USS Blue Ridge, she's stationed in Yokosuka Japan. She's an IT2 and has been in the Navy for 3 1/2 years now. She had her Wog day yesterday so she is now a Shellback!! For those who don't know it's when they cross over the Equator. She had ketchup & mustard squirted on her, said they had to eat this yucky green stuff with there mouth no hands allowed. She said they had to sing songs, do dances, got hosed down with the fire hose. She said they had to crawl through stuff and lots of other crazy things. She said half way through she thought why did I sign up for this. But she made it and is now a Shellback!!!
