OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Brand new mom out of Tracy saying Hello! My son ships out to Great Lakes in March '13. Just enjoying these next few months the best we can and reading all the stuff on here regarding PIR to get prepared. Was lucky enough to witness my nephew's Army graduation at Fort Benning, GA back in '09, so it will be an honor to see another branch's ceremony. Happy Thanksgiving to all, many blessings to you and your loved ones. :)
