I'm so disgusted with the behavior my son has to put up with in A school for HT. There's a guy across the hall from my son who comes into their room (let in by my son's room mates) who keeps screwing with my son's things. They're ticked at my son because he won't buy them alcohol, so they're making his life hell and the higher ups aren't doing anything about it. He doesn't want to go higher, because then his immediate superiors will take it out on him. It makes me sick that this type of mentality is what's going into our military.

I am new to this. My son is now in A school for MR and I believe that is under the engineer group. Anyone else???

MamaBear-- the graduation isn't a big deal. They line up and get certificates. If you aren't living in the area I suggest you don't spend the money to travel. I would wait! He will get to come home on leave for 8-10 days, before he goes to his command. Hope this helps

DebBon, do you know if your son be on hold before he starts strand? I was told strand was 11 working days M-F That is all I really know about strand.

MamaBear, I too haven't heard anything about graduation time yet.  I think my son said he has like 8 more days of BECC and then he has Strand to do which I think is another week.  No dates yet have been said.  Just have to play the waiting game I guess.  I did hear that it is no big deal, but I would still like to be there regardless.

angelkup, thanks for the info. I will keep asking our son about it. He wants us to go but still hasn't been given any info. on a graduation.  I guess this is all part of the waiting game we all got signed up to when our loved ones signed on...lol... Thanks again.

mama Bear, yes there is a graduation, but Austin didn't tell me about it til it was over. He said it was no big deal.  That of course is his opinion and I questioned it at the time. We would have gone, oh well.  I do know it is a work at your own pace kind of thing, so I am not really sure how that works.

He PIR'd Jan 21 and moved over to A school on the 24 and I believe he didn't start his BECC until like the first week of February.

DebBon-Thank you. When did your son start BECC?
