Hi...my son in still in BC at this time but will seen graduate and stay in GL for A school in HT. Anyone have any insight on HT rate?
Congratulations to your Daughter Curly, after her A school was she able to come home for a bit or was she deployed right after? He didn't wait to much longer to get into the ATT classes may a day or two. so he now on his way. Thanks for the info.
Good Morning Ladies, My son is going for a EM he is attending school in Great Lakes and he Loves it. They have a little more flexibility in A school and you can communicate more with them. They go thru Phases, Phase one when leaving base they need to go with 2 other Sailors, Phase 2 they can begin to wear civilian clothes so you are able to ship him some from home and they need only one other Sailor to go on Liberty with. For EM's they have Technical schooling first once that is done they go into ATT they must pass both of these in order to get into A school so their grades determine if they can begin A school for this rate. So A school doesn't begin just yet. but it is a course of 6 months for all. According to my son right now they are in need of EM"S they have a shortage and are in need of them. if there is anything that I can help with any question please feel free to ask and I will do my best to direct you. Have a Great Day!
It's nice to see a few other EM mom's on this site. My son is just getting started. His PIR was November 3.
