Good Morning, Ladies if you try to click on the link of Sarg's stand down rates it may take you somewhere else. Copy and Paste it to browser that may be better. they do have to make reservations before a certain date...Just trying to help the Sailors get where they need to for half the cost they would share rides to any airport if flying out... Good Day Ladies!

Ladies found info on Sarges website for stand downs, this form needs to be filled out prior to your Son/Daughter leaving for Christmas holiday. here they give the rates and the must to be done prior to leaving if transporation is needed to the airport. www.mynavytaxi.com/stand-down-return.html hope this helps

Any other GSE moms out there?

@Phoenixmom - thanks so much for the info.  I will try to get my sailor's dates for Christmas.  Sarge IS a very kind, trusted man. He was gracious enough to answer an urgent "last minute" question I had at 5 a.m. on the morning of PIR!

Comment by Phoenixmom on September 20, 2017 at 11:27am

Just recieved from Sarge: We have a system in place for "Stand-Down"  We will bundle up the sailors. We will have a special reservation module set up for stand down. All the sailors leave on the same date and time. I promise you he will have no issues.

Good Morning Ladies it is Hump Day! wanted to mention that I had spoke to Sarge, he will be available to pick up Sailors that will be flying home for CHRISTMAS and said that if he could get a few Sailors together that will be going to same airport that they would share the cost. Now I am still waiting on my Son to give me dates, but I was thinking maybe using  Southwest thru Midway. his prices are on his website  www.mynavytaxi.com and that would be coming and going. Sarge is a very trusted man he is able to get on base knows the rules, regulations of the base. My Son and his Buddies use his taxi to get around wherever they may want to go. so just in case your Son/Daughter would like to share a ride and cost. I will find out dates first of course and then go from there. Thanks Ladies have a Great Day!
