KYmom - I never thought of my oldest Sailor's vehicle. He's suppose to be back, tomorrow........ it would depend on Earl, though. His 2wk trip might turn out to be a 3wk week.

I heard our AG's sea trip may last a wk or two longer than expected. You know the rumors in the Navy. I've heard some Moms saying, The Sailors haven't ran into any rough seas.......others say they have. I've heard, they are tieing down, everything.
Have your Sailor every run into a hurricane? Is he on shore, now? If so, what does he say about their weather?

I'm wondering if our AG is/was sea sick. I know, our oldest has atleast one time......first time running into back weather.

KYmom - I saw on the news, tonight/(last night), Norfolk's Navy Base. They were preparing to evaculate......if neccessary. Both of my Sailors out to sea, already. I'm not worried about them :)

KYmom - Congrats, to your Sailor!!!!!!!!! That is awesome!!!!!!!!!! What a nice surprise, that was :)

Before he left, I asked him for his email and ship's address.......so I could send him some goodies. He never texted me back, about his info. I do know, his big bro heard from him, atleast once. He is also out to sea, now......should be back on fri.

I'm anxious to hear all about his sea trip. Being an AG n all, I heard they ran into some rough water. He told me, when there's a bad weather, AGs stay on the deck........while the others take shelter. Is this true?

I've been MIA.....was in Orlando for 10days.

KYmom - How was your trip to VA? How is your Sailor doing?

Ours is experiencing his first taste of the sea life. He's been out to sea for a month. Should be back in a wk or two. We haven't heard from him, though

I am not sure but I am pretty sure he will have to live in base with the rest of the guys.My son waited 3 weeks to start school . They had him doing all kinds of odd jobs working in a snack shop and allot of cleaning .

Is there just one school or are they finished after A school. My son is married and wondered if they still have to live in a barracks.
