Ok very quiet here lately, what's going on with your Airmen out there?

Mine starts back to school on Monday after the loss of a couple of the security papers.  All taken care of and he is a happy Sailor.

Hope all is well!

Dunesmom - that is really heartwarming to hear. I had a little of the same with my brother who is younger than me.

yea weird hu?  Son  has never liked any of the guys she dated, never good enough and he is soo protective of her.  you would never know he is the little brother.  Actually she is the same way about him.

ABH - yep, the USN took Lynch's wisdom teeth out at BC. Like Matt's mom, had we known, I would have had our dentist take care of it beforehand. Not something he needed to deal with at BC, esp since he already had a week less cuz he was in a push div. My son is also private with a lot of details.....good as far as the Navy is concerned, but tough for a Mama like me who NEEDS DETAILS!!!

Dunes - bummer for Dune's friend. You know that guys can be relentless about that stuff, too. Soooooo....brother likes the guy enough to have his sister meet him? Now, can't get a much better endorsement than that!!!

My sailor had a little problem with his removal, well afterwards.  It was graduation time and he wanted to go hang out with his buds.... mistake!  take it easy is what i advise.  He played vollyball and horsed around.  ended up with some pain but would not take any meds other than asprin for it.  Now my daughter had no problem. she only had two teeth and took it easy.

one of my Sailors buds had his front tooth taken out, Navy said it's gotta go as it was discolored.  He has a temp tooth and can not get the perm. peg til after his schooling is all done.  bummer for him as he broke the temp.  Dune wants his sister to meet his bud so i had to warn  her about no front tooth.  She just giggled and no big deal.  Now those guys all pick on him but from what i hear he is a heck of a good guy and can take it pretty well.  Oh those friendships they are all making is  just good for the heart.  I guess i have blathered on long enough.  Hope i made some sence, lol....

Have a great day All!

ProudABHMom my son had his wisdom teeth removed once he arrived at BC.  I wish I would have known that having them removed was pretty standard to avoid any future problems and I would have had his dentist take care of them while he was home.  He never had a problem with the teeth and was surprised that they took them out.

Thanks guys, I've asked norfork too. My son John has asked everybody he knows and hasn't found out to much either.Either its a very closed mouth group of AO's or a very small group or both! I know the squadron has its own school called (Helicopter sea combat weapon school) in Norfork, but I don't know if thats for helicopter pilots?? He is very excited about the change because he wanted a squadron.Hes just waiting for the paper work.He is sad about the Nassau, but he said it was time. Thanks
