Any undes questions, you may have let me know. Im on a ship, and I work in the aviation department. I will try to answer your questions quickly and efficiently as possible.

hello, everyone the Apact program is the Aviation Profesional Apprenticeship Career Tract, also known as the undesignated program. If your sailor is an undesignated airman they would go to pensacola for this program. If your sailor is in aircrew they would go to an aircrew program in pensacola it is very different however. Aircrew is a job (rating) being undes is not exactly a job. The Sailor will work where they are designated once they get to a ship and do resesarch and decide on a job (rating) sometime in their career. Any questions feel free to ask, as I went to the APACT program.

If your son is going to aircrew school then he is not undesignated. If your son is headed to the apact program that lasts about two weeks or so then he is undesignated. I hope this helps.

Thank you Ladies, Have tons of questions but will just mill around to see what is what if that is ok. My son starts aircrew school tomorrow and im not sure what he is going for. He told his Dad that he sees what he qualifies for and what choices there are. So we are thinking by Christmas he will know all of this?

Welcome Dunesmom! Like Claudia said ask any questions that you have. There is usually someone on here that knows the answer or can make a suggestion where to find them.

matt's mom: Thankfully, my wife and I are firm believers that God's will is always done how He wants it and so far...it's been an amazing journey. Everything we've done together has been with Him in the center of it and we praise Him everyday for bringing us together. I'll admit the separation SUCKS! but the day we come together again, it'll be so amazing to see how much we love each other and continue to see how His love works in us so that we can continue to be crazy for each other. Also, we pray that He continues to bless us with lots of love and glory so that we can share it with the world and be able to prove to the nay sayers that love is really out there.

That is an awesome attitude to have about your separation for right now but soon she will move on to her duty station and hopefully your family will be together again.

Matt's mom: we were actually talking about hwo she would love to be here with me, but will go through with this for us because it's a goal and future we both want for each other and our future family. Thankfully, she's getting to like Pensacola and she's getting along with people over there. As for me, i'd give anything just to have one night with her to sleep and hold her, just like i'm sure she wants the same. But i know the Good Lord will bring us together next month so we can continue to love each other :)
