This a regular test to show their overall knowledge of the Navy.  You AZAN should have access to is NKO which will provide all the areas of study that may be tested on.  The test will occur in September, but the results will not be made public until the end of October.

My AZAN is studying for a test for September to be able to advance to E-4.  Do you moms know anything about that stuff??

Very funny indeed. I am in CA but managed a visit out there back in May. Loved seeing my boy. So happy for you to have him close by.

Hi phloughb, Funny that before he left for boot, my son was talking about hoping he could be a puking dog LOL. Wildcats was the closest thing available to pick from. He is thrilled to be heading to Virginia. We are in MA so it's not too far for us.

Hello motormom,

My son has been at Oceana for a year now. He is with VFA 143 The Puking dogs. He too is an AM. It's nice there.

My son is graduating A school in Pensacola this week and will be going to Oceana, VA with the 131 Wildcats next. He is an aviation structural mechanic. Anyone else have someone in Oceana?

Good Morning Kim,

Take a look at this link which will help you understand the PACT designation. It actually gives him an opportunity to see what other rates do so he can choose what he wants to go for later.

I hope this helpful.
