Just received our form letter for our future AC, PIR 3/13/15. She's so looking forward to the warmer weather than Upstate NY!
My daughter graduated BC 1/16, and has been at Pensacola a week. We drove to see her and she's doing great, but did say that it could be a while before there classes start, because they are backed up from the holidays.
Hello,
My son just arrived in Pensacola last night from Great Lakes boot camp. He says class should start in about 2 weeks. I just wanted to say Hi. BearsMom aka Amber when does your don start?
BearsMom, no worries! He will have plenty to do in a short amount of time. Granted, I was a lot older than most in my A School, but I loved my times "off". It allowed me to unwind, etc. He just got there, so he will have to wait to class up (which can take a while, especially around the holiday season). Until then, they will keep him busy with duty stations, etc. Tell him to enjoy it while he has it because once school starts, relaxation time is (or should) be reserved for the weekends (when there isn't a test on Monday to study for). Hope that eases your mind!
My son just got to Pcola on Saturday, he is AC. I figured they would get right to work doing something, anything! I was just texting him and he told me he is at the mall?!?!? Seriously?!?!
Thank you I will
