Karla they will be in our thoughts and prayers!  God still works miracles today!

Ringtone's Mom- thanks for the encouraging words!!  I am in such need to just hear his voice for a few moments!  Can't wait for that phone call!!  I feel it will make me feel better.  Three weeks seems like three months!!  I know there are others who have gone through this and will be others as well, but it does make me feel good to know there is support and I am not the only crazy one bursting into tears at odd places over odd things! LOL  Thanks ladies!!  You are all blessings!!

I had a come apart in Walmart of all places. Buying some soap and saw the body wash he uses. Stood there and just cried. I know people thought I was losing it. LOL

Count me in!  I can't wait.  Son has been gone three weeks today and I must say today has been tough!  Don't know why today but can't shake it off.  Looking forward to seeing everyone. Head count of three.

They have this store on base where they can get things needed, stamps, phone cards, hose.  They carry them for the ladies.  They can even say they are using for polishing boots, lol.  If it helps though it would be worth it.

The boots tore up my sons heels and ankles after the "Death March".

crisanthomom - its the boots.  I was told today if you wear stockings under your socks it would help.  Not so sure my son would do that but after going through this he just might!!

Got my first real letter from my son Saturday!  Was very excited!  He is not much of a letter writer and he sent me a 3 page letter one to my daughter.  He sounded good but has torn up his heels bad, say a pray for fast healing!  Other than that sounds like all is going as expected.  Now that I got that one I may not stalk the mailman on a daily basis, just the end of the week! LOL!

I would love to attend but unfortunately, I will be heading inthe other direction to my husbands highschool reunion in Florence, AL on August 13. Please plan another one after this one so I can come. I think it will be great to be around others who understand how and why I'm crazy.

If we do lunch I am good to go. Ironically, that's the day I expect my Sailor home from A school! But I am close enough by to join y'all & I wouldn't want to miss it. I seriously doubt if a reservation would be necessary or possible, We went there yesterday to buy some fried pies. It stormed and everyone was kind of stranded inside the place. (Usually people spill out onto the porch) but there was still a lot of seating. I guess it depends how many of us there are.
