Monkey Town is Montgomery, for anyone who missed CB lingo. :D

LOL! I love Peach Park & for those of you who don't go back & forth to B'ham via I-65, it is a glorified fruit stand in Clanton where they specialize in peaches! Seriously! But there is a dining area & they sell barbecue, ice cream and KILLER fried peach pies. They are pretty used to groups stopping there, I'm sure, because they are right by the interstate. Mobile is probably 3+ hours away; Huntsville 2 hours & if you're in B'ham or Monkey Town, you are right in the backyard.

I like the Peach Park idea.  Hopefully it can be done on a Saturday.

I don't think I can come especially on a week day, but I bet I could get my husband to come.  He is on Navy Dads and is ex-Navy himself.  He eats this Navy stuff up and he is my usual one stop answer for things Navy.  Subscribes to Navy Times and is on I don't know how many news lists.

Debra what a small world!  You don't know how much our 'chance meeting' at Hobby Lobby meant to Kelsey and I both! Thank you for the encouragement!

Kelsey shipped on 19 Jul but didn't actually arrive in GL until 11:25 last night.  I know these next few days are going to be the worst for her....so far they are pretty tough for me too.

My daughter was SUPPOSED to fly out of Montgomery YESTERDAY at 2pm....25 hours later she has JUST landed in Atlanta!!!! 3 delayed flights and one cancellation. No idea when they will get a flight to Chicago now! SO frustrating!
