poor thing! ill tell you something that a good friend told me when i was going thru a hard time with my husband at boot camp- he was sick and miserable and I just wanted to swoop in and take all the pain away...but she reminded me that he has to go through this- he chose this and it is part of his development and what he needs to build character-
obviously having someone break up with him is NOT what he chose, but I guess the point is to just trust that they are strong enough and can get through it- you've raised an awesome guy (obviously!) he will definitely look back and realize it was best...
ericsmom...between kmber and bonnie's husband,I think ya got some solid advice!!
kimber....ya forgot about hoping that her teeth fall out! ;D
I hope your son can re~direct himself and stay focused. Be there for him and we'll be here for YOU!!
~Tracy
Ericsmom.....Just listen...be there for him when he wants to vent. Encourage him in the way no other can like a Mom! I know it's cheesy, but be the inner "cheerleader" that we all are for our children. It's in you and pull from that. Of course, as moms, we pray her hair will fall out and develop a sudden case of acne and gain 20 lbs so noone will love her like your son did! Karma is a hmmmmmm...Mom to mom...she wasn't good enough for him..we know it and time needs to pass so just be there for him!
Hugs, Kim

Hi all ~ Our sons are in P'Cola but won't phase up to II until 28 days after arrival. Not really much going on but they have many from their Div in their barracks. CTs, ITs, etc. All in all it is going well. Glad for all your sailors who have phased up already. I don't think mine get civies until phase III and each phase is 28 days. It seems their is a lot of underage drinking at P'Cola which my kids did not tell me but someone I know on the base.
Good day to all!
