Also, in case anyone is interested, I've found the FB pages for some places to watch out in California while they are there.  I'd be happy to share if anyone would like!

Thank you Jan for the FB photos....got chills again!  Also, those of us who are specifically alumni of ship 4 div 802...please friend me so I can tell my Sailor who I got to make friends with...he's thought I was nuts throughout this whole experience by spending my time between here and all the FB pages I watch BUT he was also impressed about all the things I already knew before he could tell me...lol...I told him moms always stick together EVEN when we are just connected through an experience and a website!

Jan, when I saw your post that C got his sneakers today I was like...Oh fun..what a great Birthday surprise...then I read your OOPs and I laughed at how easy it is to try and put two and two together but somehow it rarely adds up these days ..lol...everything seems to be a detective story throughout this journey...Im hoping C will get to call today so we can sing to him..another day of getting through a "first" without him...we have survived so much in such a short amount of time..Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and now his Birthday...trying to stay upbeat about it..wearing my Navy sweats and the division t shirt he got me, in honor of him...called his cell phone at midnight and sang Happy Birthday..even though the cell phone is in my pocketbook ready to be mailed out tomorrow...lol...as much as we miss him, we are so proud of him and soo happy he is connecting with some very special people...many mixed emotions still but we totally realize this is the best choice he could have made...no matter where he is, it's the date he was born and that will always be a day to celebrate !!! xoxoxoxoxo

Navymom- I put pictures up on my FB page. Lots of pictures from the Aquarium and some from Sunday, if you want them I'll give you my FB name. You can steal some pictures if you want.

I forgot about the cord to download them onto my computer, I am doing it now. I will send you my FB name so you can get them off, if you want. They aren't as good as this one, but the ones we took at the aquarium turned out pretty good.
