I have not been able to talk to my sailor but twice. I have to ship her phone and laptop to her.

I think I am out of the loop since I did not go to the meet and greet, and did not get a chance to meet you guys. So that may be a reason you have lost some moms here. Don't know, just a thought.

R didn't receive his box, yet. He probably won't get it till Tues now.

Navymom- I guess R and C are across the hall from each other. R called tonight from his friends phone. He has watch all weekend.

I guess they are on hold for quite a while before they go through the air rescue, and then they have to go through RSS after that. He said that won't be for about 8 months.

Lydia- it sounds like the boys will be really far apart. B got to go through the classes really quick.

Patti, it sounds like they are trying to adjust to their move. The navy has them going through phases every 2-3 weeks in order to help them adapt to a more "civilian" type life...It's bound to be a bit challenging for them and over time they will make new friends and get comfortable. As a mom I think we want to go there and make everything ok for them..lol...it's an adjustment for us too !!
