For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I know what ya mean...I LOVED the Meet n Greet...but oh how I wished fdor MORE time. There were so many monns that I didn't get to chat with! I was in a TOTAL funk on Monday...I am much better now!
My room at the Ramada was nice...and as for the alleged musty odor...tye drains in the bathroom smelled wicked bad when the water was running,otherwise NO problem! The staff WAS awesome.

Hey moms...
I LIVE for my nightly texts from my sailor. Got his address and the care packages WILL commence. A while back someone asked about care packages and shipping discounts. I inquired at my P.O and was told that in using the flat rate shipping boxes,there is an automatic $2 discount when the P.O. sees the military zip code. Cool,huh!!
