Hi all my SR shipped to RTC the Wed before Mother's Day...What a GREAT present..No really!  I can't wait until PIR on July 6.

When he first left ALL I wanted was to hear his voice, to know that he was OK.  The first couple of letters left me a little concerned, but since his halfway through call home I no longer worry.    Now his letters make me smile for a whole week until the next come and I KNOW that he is making it through the hardest thing he has ever had to deal with and making it through like a MAN and not the boy I've known and watched grow for the last 20 years..

Hello! My son PIR'ed on July 8th, and is in Monterey, California at DLI (training to be a CTI). I have been active on the CTI mom's group, and just found this site. Glad there's an Arkansas moms group. I live in NWA--does this group ever do any get-togethers, or projects for sailors? Thanks!
