Proud AV Mom: Be prepared as there may be a wait.  My son waited about 5 weeks to class up.  He graduated from boot camp on 4/29 and classed up on 6/3/11.

Navy 08 Mom - hope i didnt sound rude! I wasnt disagreeing with you just saying how it doesnt make since lol My husband is being assigned to p3s as well. He is being told that since the p3s are being replaced with p8s hell prolly be retrained for a different plane at the end of his two years at this duty station,  if he doesn't choose to switch rates.

Z's girl - Yup AWAT ;) As far as I know they are still getting verbals on the first day of away so you might know where he is going next on Wednesday!

Navy 08 mom - i think its funny how they keep saying AE is over manned but they changed my hubbys rate in bootcamp to AE bcuz the "navy needs them right now" and alot of guys in his class are fleet returnees from other rates that where overmanned so the navy allowed them to cross rate into AE.. really makes you shake ur head

My son finished ATT and now waiting to start AE.  I know he is anxious to begin the next phase.  So proud
