Patty - ATT is kind of a prereq. Its about general electronis, like circuts and such. Hubby is in this class right now. After this class theyll wait some more then class up for AWAT another pre class. Right now alot of classes are going striaght from AWAT into STRAND (which is the AE classes) but sometimes they have to wait between those two too

JMA- phase one liberty they must stay on base during the week but can leave with a liberty buddy (can be family) but alway in their uniforms and back by a certain time. phase two liberty they can wear their civies, leave base during the week and weekends with a buddy and still report back at a certain time. Phase three liberty is the same as phase two but they can leave base on friday and not report back till sunday night

My son is working hard in class but it is ATT class.  Is this a class before he starts AE?  I am confused on how this works.

He came home saying that they were told  in class yesterday that new orders coming out in the future (not sure when it starts) for AE's will be 3 year Shore duty, 5 year Sea Duty.. has any one heard this yet??? 5 year Sea Duty is insane!!! that could be someones entire commitment!
