.
Hi all, have been so busy since I got back from convention. It was fabulas, but BOY id DC expensive. That said it was really great. We did a lot of work. Met alot of moms and shared many stories and experiences. I hope to get my pictures to download soon so will post them. As for the question as to weather we go to funerals of military not KIA, our chapter does go if we are asked. The casualty officer will ask the families if they wish a service and if they do then we go. We have done Blue to Gold for service members who have been in accidents, died from illnesses, and sadly evan suicides. It will all depend on the casualty officers and how they inform your chapter and the families. I had not heard about the soilder from Carson, I hope that they were able to take care of that.
You know you could look into starting a chapter in your area. go to the nation website and look under the tab-starting a chapter. # hours is way too long a drive. Let me know if you need any information.

Does anyone know if they will be presented a gold star or just parents who have joined, I was just wondering.
Cathi, I lived in Beloit for a short period of time a few years ago and LOVED IT up there.
Thank You for the Welcome Mikes mom and good morning...well afternoon to you
Hi bryters ATI Whitbey Island,
I live in Wisconsin. I joined the SE wisconsin Chapter. Sorry to hear there is no group near you.
I joined last year and there is no group near me, It's very disapointing. I hosted a Dinner event and had 3 moms attend. and scheduled another for the month after next to see if I can dig up a few moms to start our own group. Where are you from Mikes mom & Cathi?
