Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Bootcamp Siblings...
My daughter said she didnt know she would cry so much...her brother and her are very close.
She plans to start writing today...and I plan on learning how to play Marvel vs. Capcom!

momma'o, tell your daughter not to feel alone, my daughter cried a lot when her brother left on May 19th, she writes him all the time and it really does help her, they are best friends so this has been very difficult for her, hang in there.

My SR has an older sister and she told me last week she grabbed her phone to call him and then was sad when she remembered he couldn't talk to her. She's 26! It is good to have siblings so close! His brothers don't say much about him being gone, but his sister talks about him more. That's a good thing. He will be closer to her because she'll write him now when he really needs the support from home. Your daughter is not alone, but she'll be even more proud of her big brother soon! (P.S. Good luck at learning those games Momma'o!)

she told me yesterday that she wondered how much loose change she would find as we "pick up"(lol!!!)her brothers room!

My son arrived on the 14th, I recieved my call at 3 am on the 15th. I have not recieved his personal belongings yet.My youngest son is sleeping in his brothers old t-shirrts! he misses him so much!

Aww. Tell him to write and put him to work looking for jokes to send his brother.
Sooo, I write my SR every day and try faithfully to stick something different periodically in my letters. I incorporate pictures of home and of his pets. And what letters does he appreciate??? He likes the ones his 3 year old niece and 15 mo nephew color (scribble) for him! No gratitude...that's what I say! :P

my daughter picked out a few of her fav t's too...and while i cleaned she sat on his bed and "supervised".
i cant wait to see her face when she opens his first letter to her.((PRICELESS))!!!!
