OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Keger, you sound just how I feel. My son as well is having a lot of sadness, he is missing home sooo bad. When I answered the phone, his voice instantly started to crack, I just tried to sound up beat nad encourage him... He said he was going to do everything possible to try and get to call me again soon. Just knowing that your son is not alone in this, their are more kids in there feeling the same. I tried to send you a private message, but it would not go through. My email address is ptcarrier@att.net.

Keger, I got your message you sent me. For some reason I can not reply to it. I think this site is having some technical difficulties at the moment. I will try again later today.

Hug that future sailor for us:)

Hi and Welcome.

We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site.  You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below.  It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.

Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!

Be sure and let me know if you have any questions!

PS.  Feel free to cruise my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops.  Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.
