My son left on the 6th and I received his box yesterday but would of got it Monday. I received his letter today. Division 103

Join the group, PIR 02/26/2016 TG 16, to connect with others with loved ones training with your recruit.  Divisions 103 and 104 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.  There will later be a discussion within PIR PIR 02/26/2016 TG 16 for the two divisions.

My son arrived on the 6th and I got the form letter today.  I'm so excited to have an address I've already mailed my first letter.

I finally received the form letter. Yay!! I'm sending a letter off during my lunch break. My son is graduating on Feb 26. I'm can't wait to see him! :)

Hi All,

My son left on January 6th and we received his letter last Wednesday and the box arrived on Saturday ....So excited for him. I was told by a friend who is sailor that if you would like to attend graduation on February 26. He had his mom pay for her ticket from the check he was receiving . He stated that the recruits are getting paid and they arent spending the money. If you look at SW airlines the flight have been reasonable. Good Luck!!

Yes, recruits are being paid and don't have many expenses coming out of their pay. Yes, some recruits are able to pay for a loved one to attend PIR. Those who have obtained E-2 or above are better able to do that than an E-1, but it would depend on the price of the tickets. There is info on that in Saving Money PIR Weekend.
