Does anyone know how they get paid? and any idea how much? My son signed over POA to me and I have some bills to pay for him. I really need some idea of when they get paid and how much the going rate for just regular boot camp SR -- no special jobs or anything. I dont want to spend all of his money and need to know how to balance it all out.

Thanks

they get twice a month 15th and month end-my grandson just graduated boot camp but he didnt get paid for the first few weeks he was in-he clears around $540 each pay check but I dont know what his exemption is and he is having money put into savings also.  This will give you some idea

They usually get paid on the 1st and 15th of the month.  My son went in on 2/14 and got paid on the 3/15 about $820.00.  hope that this helps you.
they also have the deductions for part of their clothes and shoes on the first checks along with the hygine products they are issued.
the first check will be larger than the others because they usually have more weeks on the first check
It will also make a difference if they are E1, E2, or E3.
thanks for all the information-- My son went in on 2/22 so I'm thinking the earliest I should see a check is april 1st (if then). I knew I would get answers easier than waiting for my son to tell me-- I really am gratefull for this site.
