WOOHOO!!!! denisef I'm sooooooooo tempted to leave work early, LOL!! My son shipped the same day. I've been running to the mailbox like I'm waiting on some money. I guess anything from our SR is like gold, huh?

No kidding!  I really didn't think I would behave like this.  Silly moms!  I really miss her and cannot wait to hear from her.  I can't stand not knowing what she's up to and her thoughts about bootcamp!  I hope you get your letter today too. Fingers crossed for you!!

No mail today.....oh well, there's always tomorrow!!!

ChristinaNavyMom, now you have something to look forward to tomorrow :).  I know how you feel, you received the box way before I did. It seemed like an eternity until it arrived.  I'm eagerly awaiting your update on Thursday..

No letter on Thursday! :-( Hopefully today.....I'm getting antsy! You're right, I did get the box quick. Praying for patience!

I missed a call from my SR earlier today!! Aargh!! My husband and two little guys got to speak to him, though. They said he sounded upbeat and his division had been changed (he will be playing the sax so they moved him to the 900 division), so now I wonder if he'll get my long letter, as I sent it to a different address based on what the recruiter gave me. My SR's box came last Friday but still no form letter, hence my decision to send the letter to him a couple of days ago! I asked 100 questions about the call. Sounds like graduation will be sooner than later for him, but I still don't know when. I'm just happy that I caught a bit of his voice on the answering machine!

They will forward your letter to him or return it to you--his situation is why we say to wait on the form letter before sending letters, but you may get a form letter with the wrong info depending on when he was moved. If he's playing sax, then he's in Division 928 and has PIR on 05/22/2015. See the info in 800 and 900 Divisions. The address is in there and you can go ahead and write since you know that he is there from his call and we know that that division has formed. The link for the PIR group is also there.

If your form letter has his previous division number and PIR date, you will need to get the new password from him because the passwords are PIR specific and the one in the form letter will not work if it is for the 05/29/2015 PIR and he has PIR on 05/22/2015.

Thanks, I will let ellen and FTLW know to start the group.

Keep watching PIR 05/29/2015 TG 29 and join when it is up.

Thanks lemonelephant.  You are so on top of things!

You are very welcome. I hope that one of them gets it going tonight.

My son left 3/25 and we got the letter yesterday. Turns out his PIR is going to be on 5/29 not 5/22 as we originally thought. I'm just glad to finally hear from him. He's in Ship 03 DIV 188 which I understand to be a brother division to DIV 187.

You give me hope Johanna! That's 2 weeks after your son arrived. I'll calm down, Lol.
