Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Question About Phone Calls Home
I probably won't receive a phone call from my SR for about another week and a half or so. I've been wondering... How long they are allowed to talk, and I'm also wondering if they are allowed to call more than one person. His dad and I are divorced. Will they limit him to one person?

Stephnie, It just all depends. My son who graduated 7/20 (it was awesome!!!!) got to call more than I thought that he would. It was probably around week 4 or 5 and he got to call every Saturday. He has said that his div. was doing really well, and so they got to make calls. One Saturday I remember that he called me, then called his girlfriend and then actually called me back. Each time that he called, it seemed like he did get more time to talk. Hopefully this will be the case with your son as well.

Here are the links to the last two PIR groups. Join the group for your SRs division there will be lots of information there for you. The latest group does not have divisions posted yet, they are not yet confirmed, but the PIR group for 10/5 will start with division 317 and have division 947.

No set rules at all when it comes to phone calls. My son didn't get to make his first because he had his wisdom teeth pulled the same day phone calls were allowed. He missed his second phone call because he had watch. His first phone call came about 3 weeks before graduation and we spoke for 38 minutes. The next week he was able to call again on a sunday and that was over an hour. that same day he called his sister because they weren't home when he called and he also called his granparents and girlfriend. The week of graduation, he called home every day and also made other calls as well. I sure do hope you get a call soon! They make a world of difference.
