Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello bobbijk my new friend lol !!!!! our kids are together !!!!!! I have been watching posts all week long and I felt for you because I also did not get my form letter until today !!! My son left on 6-14 i changed my name it was Howies Mom but i figured it was easier to go by my first name so here we go on the adventure i cant wait to find out what is next !!!! Take care
i posted a discussion group  and you are on it lol im the dummy lol yes i know i felt like a heel all last week crying about everything and now its all here i feel so refreshed lol.... i cant wait either i would add you as a friend but i dont know how lol ( computer iliterate except when it comes to facebook... do u have a page on there? i cant wait as you said our adventure begins my poor son sounded so tired in the memo he wrote me at the bottom of the letter ...kee me posted !!!! thx  bobbie
Bobbie I too am not to good on the computer except for FB hahhaha if you can send me your contact info I will look for you im on that at least 20 xs a day lol , I work during the day so when I get home at nite I check this site out so forgive me if I dont get back to you asap ; ) looking forward to our talks !!!

ok good morning hope there are more than us in this civ lol
Hi:  My name is Diane (Seabeemom) my son Jack left NY on June 14 and has a grad date of 8/4.  I wish I would hear from him soon but have been sending letters every other day.  I am going away this weekend and will put call forwarding on my phone at home to my cell in case he calls but probably not till next week i suppose.  but i want to be prepared.
hi diane have you recieved your foem letter yet? i got mine last monday (6/20) i have been sending letters to him all week and am about to lose it for hopefully he will be sending back some this week. are you sure your pir date isnt 8/05?........have you gotten your ship/div yet? you sound like you are prepared to me lol hang in there and im here anytime you need to talk i will let you know when i recieve a letter hope u do also love hearing good news
