that is awesome :) I also went to MEPS it was great being able to be there to see eveything.we are from balto,md

i just went out and saw my son's box sitting outside.   I didn't get the 15 sec phone call  so i'm happy this is here..I believe they said expect the letter at end of week

I just got a call from my daughter saying the box is there :) cant wait to get off work.my daughter 13 and son 11 wanted to open box i said no way :)

Yes I understand. I still think, what am I fixing for supper tonight for him or start to send him a text. such an adjustment for us, I can only imagine the adjustments they are going thru.

NavyMommy, Know that feeling well! I was so scared that the box would come and someone else would go ahead and open it! Was mentally preparing and talking myself out of attacking anyone if they did! lol Got home and no one else was there. Then I had to make myself wait to share it with everyone!

My son is in the same ship & division also.
I got my box today. No note but dirty underwear & socks & 24 cents. I'll take anything I can get to feel a connection to him.

Yeah E sent everything back to include his Ironman watch we got him before boot.  Dont know why he sent that back his recuiter said he could wear it in boot.  Well Day 3 is rockin for them by now I'm sure and they have finished breakfast in bed and are heading to their first meditation-self reflection session by now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

now i am a little confused.   if they arrived last thurs why is it day 3......oh I hope I  learn to sort all of this out

Elizabeth.... The first few days are processing days. Actual BC didnt start until
Monday. That would make today day 3.

thanks...so much to understand....someone mentioned  that it would most likely be a PIR date of Sept 14th...I know we won't know for sure till letter  and then again till they pass  (I just read for every  150 -300 sent in on the battle stations test  3 -10 don't make it)    Does this seem about right on the estimated PIR date

My son.is in the.same.boat
