Hey everyone!
I just got the letter from RTC with Ashley's address and grad date (May 06,2011) Does anyone else have a future sailor on the same ship and division?

That is wonderful news, Shell! You can do the happy dance!! (DK, you need to post one for her LOL) What a relief that must be!!
Got a letter from my SR yesterday and mentions they're up for testing. Crossing my fingers. He also made me laugh..."MOM!I Who is that lady you're emailing?!" The exclamation marks are his; he just can't believe I'm connecting with people outside about their division. Ahh, it's so nice to have one up on the young'uns. He doesn't mention other people much either, darn!
What time is the meet and greet? It's probably posted somewhere here (Just saw it: 6 to 8?). It's going to be close for us. We arrive in Chicago around 6.
DK...Purple People Greeter HEHEHE
Just keep me posted as to what we're doing so I can be ready too. I am 8 hours away from Great Lakes, if anyone needs anything, we're driving in too, so if you're flying in and forget anything, call me and I will bring it. Just message me and I'll send my number. I wonder if maybe we should make a little "directory" of our info for each other.
Deb,
We got 3 letters today! I SO LOVE letter day! Ash said that she is working on the flag with your son, she said she told him she likes the color blue so he promised her he would make sure there was blue on it somewhere...AWWWWW he sounds like a sweetheart.
Fred, Anna is teaching Ashley how to speak Russian! It seems like our kids became friends before they even knew all of us were. How amazing is that?
I have a question for all of you... Ashley sent her sister a letter. How should I handle telling her what is going on? I need to tell her something as she is going to wonder why her sister isn't writing and isn't here when she calls, but I don't want it to upset her to the point it effects her performance. Any ideas? Cheryl... you've been through the worst of these situations... any suggestions?
is there a love connection going on there? lol
I don't know what to tell you about the situation with your two daughters, that's a tough call, but if she asked then I would suggest telling her something. Tell the truth but flower it up a bit, you know?
