Along the same line as the tissue holder, I made this for myself and then thought perhaps another Mom might like one! Sometimes I sew for the Dominican Nuns so I have a whole bunch of shirts ready to…Continue

Hi Everyone! My son recently joined 2 8 3, so thought I'd greet y'all. Maybe we'll all get to meet up for graduation if they don't keep changing things on us!

Blessed Thanksgiving everyone!

Hi All,
I posted only usernames per 3 groups on my Home Page. I have many of the mom and son names, but don't believe it's safe to post on the website. Hope it helps

You guys are great! These are all great ideas! Thank you so much. I was at a lost. I was going to get him a massage. He loves them and usually goes to Massage Envy but the gal I use is so good and she will make a home visit.
If you all think of anything else please keep posting them!!

One more idea from a friend who has been there, done that....
good noise cancelling head phones. His emphasis was on long battery life. These will come in handy for long deployment flights.

I also am getting the name of the grocery store near his apt and getting a gift card for the stocking from there.

send me camera info when you get it. I was also thinking about a kindle. THanks for the book suggestions. I was going to get the sequel to "Three cups of tea" since that was a suggested read by a special ops speaker I heard the other evening.

Mine also called so excited with all the good stuff! He kept talking about all of it and he usually is the one fussing when I buy too much stuff for Christmas. We are getting ours a gun for target practice. I hate the thought of it, but I know he wants his own one for practice which apparently they do in their free time. We had to tell him becuase we had to have the permit. I also know a lot of them enjoy cooking out so I am investing in some good grilling tools and toys. Last year, I just shipped everything the day before he left to go back and the presents were there in a few days for him to enjoy opening again! I am also giving gift cards to restaurants near them in San Diego. There is also a small digital camera by Fuji that is waterproof, around $170.00 that I have looked at for him. He has a good camera, but this one is smaller and the waterproof protects from water and of course sweat. Even if they aren't camera buffs, all the guys I know that have served have enjoyed havin a camera so they can share their life with those at home. Just a few suggesitons. I would love some from everyone else.
