Good morning all! I only got a txt since it was 1am my time. He said he was good and had fun on night maneuvers! Told him I raised a Wild man and he answered HOOYAH! Then the I love you mama which melts my heart every time I hear or read it.
I am sure that many did not want to call or txt that late at night. D knows I usually stay up late.
I am Praying for them all to be safe and sound! All they have to do is finish today and then rest a bit! HOOYAH!!

As a mom with a son who DOR's (from SWCC, but it's pretty much the same thing) I have experience with what happens after. PM me if you would like me to share what my sailor experienced (and me too)

For all the 283 men, "trust God and you will rise up on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not fail. (very paraphrased from Isaiah) or GO MEN GO!! Moms having a hard time, just put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Send your son all of your positive prayers, thoughts and energy, it's the best you can do for him. AND take care of yourself cause he loves you!

Good news for mine. He and 3 others were pulled back in and classed up with 283!! He is very excited and happy. Wonder why they rolled them back and then classed them up. He didn't miss a thing. That is good.

Illi D said he was doing the same thing. Wax on Wax off. He said he saw a guy he knows in class 281 and he was wearing a different colored helmet. He was telling me the different colors and what the guy was wearing and can't wait to get to that point. It is so nice to hear him excited and looking forward to the future. I know it hasn't been easy but it is good to hear he is handling it all in stride. He is suppose to call me or txt me how he did on his timings today. It makes it so much easier on me knowing how he has done everyday. Did you get my pm? We need to meet for lunch or dinner soon. Have a great day all and hope all your sons are doing great.
