Rock Bottom Brewery and Restaurant in LB on March 1st.

For those of you driving there will be validated parking for two hours. The parking garage is right before the restaurant on the right side if your going south on Pine.

Hey - just wanted to share. On Sunday we drove up the Feather River Canyon to Quincy, and on the way back saw a bald eagel fly right in front of us - we think it was fishing in the river. AWESOME!!!
Hi Lisa; Welcome. I'm up to either the 14th and or the 15th - but can't pull it together. Elk Grove - sounds like we will be on the 50 side with Folsom, and Fair Oaks - ?

A weekend - maybe in March would be good. Right now, Mother Nature can HAVE February all to herself! I'm so glad for the rain. It was getting very scary. Yesterday the wind blew so much - the 80 foot pine trees were 'dancing'. They sway so much it looks like a dance. Maybe Saturday the 14th? My husband is taking our Grandson on a cub scout over night on the USS Hornet. You suggest a spot - we have Folsom and Fair Oaks too. So, I'm thinking something on the Hwy 50 side. One of the moms is doing a 'tour' and that would be cool to do in Sac - what is there that we mom's can do do you know? They are going to a wreath laying, and museum tour - with lunch of course! Please let me know what you think. I'm open.

Hey girls. We were 40 hours w/o power. I'm just now getting things up and running - literally. I don't think I'm going out tomorrow. We've been hit with the storm and it is rain/snow now. We are right on the edge of the snow. Got a foot yesterday. Sierra Cement we call it - very heavy snow. I'll check in later. Since we have some one from Folsom - maybe Sunrise would work? Close for you guys?
I don't know of anybody in Auburn or surounding areas yet. Jody and Cindy you girls should connect. Maybe when it isn't storming this bad I can come down. I'm not so worried about getting out - as I am getting back in. They are advising if you don't have to go out - don't. I choose not to go to church either. That's big for me!
Work was 'fun' on Friday. No power at the court house, so it was closed at 1pm. Got a little cold. I was the only one in our department or for jury services there. It was very quiet, and I am blessed with a lot of ourside lite so I got stuff done. No phones though. I was glad to get home.
Getting the laundry going just in case we loose power again. I'll check back and if the storm let's up - I'll plan to come down the mountain.

Hi Susan, I'm up in Nevada City a couple times a month for meetings. Do you work there? I can't make it to Chico either, although I'm in Yuba City once a month for a meeting, if anyone is there.
