Disney is good. The parking is free for 2 hrs.

Had a 1/25 PIR Alumni FB Group member volunteer her house as a meeting site so there's another "option" on the table.  I'm not sure of where she lives yet but will follow up as I hear.
Since I grew up 1/4 mile from Disneyland, I'm good with that area.  It's centrally located to OC, LA and the IE.  Would be a haul for those in SD but still doable.
... and np DocRenee.  I LOVE planning "meetings" and figured this would be a natural.  I can see a NoCal MnG and a CentralValley MnG then maybe a big "annual" one rotating between the 3 areas every 3 years.  But I'm getting ahead of myself.  :)

I am in Costa Mesa.. What kind of a place are we looking for?..I will put my thinking cap on.   There are plenty of places.

This is a great group to start and I am going to try to save the 3rd weekend of May as well as June. Seems like we will be back near Disneyland or in that general area. I think debnchris lives in Costa Mesa and may know some local places. Anyone got any good ideas? Thanks buzyw2 for getting us together!

... sorry ... revise that post ... Saturday or Sunday sound best.

Comment by Diane aka buzyw2 on March 19, 2013 at 9:16pm

ok ... we have interest from
jeepmom (from Sandy Eggo)
lreece (Riverside area)
Cheri (DTLA)
DocRenee (Long Beach)
debnchris (The OC)
buzyw2 (Riverside area)
and from FB 1/25 PIR Alumni group:
Jas Lowe (unknown location at the moment)

Sounds like a Saturday works best for most of us.  I'll start looking for places in the mid- to So-OC area which seems to be fairly centrally located for OC, LA and SD people.  Any suggestions?  (in other words, any place brave enough to host us?  LOL)  Maybe 3rd week May or after school is out (3rd week June)?

Comment by jeepmom on March 19, 2013 at 8:50pm

I would like to go. I live in San Diego area and work on Saturdays. Let me know where you are going:)

Comment by 2tymeNavyMom on March 19, 2013 at 9:51am

buzw2 - I'm interested as well and you know I live in Riverside County so the OC, Huntington etc. will work for me as well.  It will have to be a weekend thing though.

Comment by debnchris on March 19, 2013 at 9:43am

buzyw2 - I would be interested in a meet a greet.  Sounds like fun.. I live in Orange County.

Comment by DocRenee on March 19, 2013 at 1:17am

Let's see if some other local LA/OC folks respond. I am willing to go into OC and Disneyland area, etc. We can work out the Saturday date later. This will be fun!
