A mom in one of my other groups just shared this book with us, perfect for someone with kids on an aircraft carrier and I figure an amphibious ready group comes very very close!  Here is is on Amazon, used copies start @ $3.85, new $3 more.  "Nugget on the Flight Deck"

She said, "The book is called "Nugget on the Flight Deck" by Patricia Newman.  It gives lots of great information about what life is like on an aircraft carrier and explains a lot of the Navy lingo and terms they use.  I learned a lot by reading the book and I know if you have someone on an aircraft carrier, you would love this book.  Especially if you know of any children that have parents on an aircraft carrier.  This would be a great book to share with them."

Oh my!  I thought you'd been married longer!  Well, at least this will be a memorable anniversary - and it will always stand to show how strong your marriage is and how strong you are, too.

It will be a year on November 13th.  It is sad that my husband will be deployed on our first wedding anniversary

yeah they did love the beach for the most part. It was nice to stand there and let the waves rush over my feet and look out into the water and find a little bit of piece and it was so so easy to clear my mind of the frusteration that I have had lately.  Sounds funny, but I wish when I was looking out into the Atlantic that I could see where my hubby was.  :( I miss him so much, people have told me that it gets easier but it doesnt.
