racing girl, What kind of A School did he go to in Mississippi? Corpsman only go to A School in San Antonio. You will have to get an address from him as he will have a mail box or something. He will need a car if he is going to be there for 2 years unfortunately, my son said they have a used lot on base from Marines that have to sell because they get shipped out or deployed. If he has Navy Federal he could maybe apply for a loan, that is what my son did.

I don't know about the address because I think they're individual addresses. I don't know.
My son broke down and bought a car. He said he needed to. The weather is excellent there and he will love it!

Hi NavyWifeMI, Usually they will get weekend liberty, but when they have a big test on Monday's they have to be back early Sunday for mandatory study. Also, I think I remember one of the longer hikes going until Saturday afternoon. When they are out in the field as it is called, they are not aloud to have their phones with them, so plan on days with no contact. Oh ya, they will also have a liberty buddy, and so they have to leave and arrive with that person. My son had someone who was semi local as he was and he would take him to the train station and have to pick him up also.

Hi all, I was wondering how liberty works in FMTB. My husband starts at the end of Jan. We have a brand new baby and I wanted to get a sense of what to expect. Thanks for any advice!
