That's what I'm thinking Jacqueline!! Those goodies will not last long. They're probably ready right about now for a little love from home, so I'm going to send a small care package on Monday.

Chief88 - HS Football - I'm there!! Really, really miss those Friday night lights!!

Judy - Um...well, you might be onto something. Just kidding, I haven't gotten an address either.

I asked T on Monday of this week if he would like me to send some of his favorite homemade cookies. He said when he gets an address for me. Maybe he doesn't want to hurt my feelings?!

I love the picture Carol!!! OMG - I laughed out loud here at work on that one!! J turns 21 in Nov - while he's at Camp P. Bummer! I'm sure they'll hook him up though. Lots of young ones there. I want to send some goodies too, especially Halloween treats, but wasn't sure how well that would go over.

my J turned 21 in July at A school...........we just kept saying "21 in Chicago-can't be good!" He behaved himself, atleast that's what he told us. I told my hubby not to worry, the Navy would be harder on him than we could ever be if he did something stupid. Hoping for a phone call tomorrow-haven't even had a text all week. Beautiful day in Illinois today! Happy Friday!!

BTW, T mentioned that the Corpsman in FMTB cannot travel more than 100 miles from Camp Pendleton. He has invited us down to CP for thanksgiving. Looks like he invited his gf and her family also. We will be staying a the "Cottages" in San Onofre, real close to CP.

Carol, your so funny!! I know, I would be just as upset as you are...even more (I have a not so nice temper) especially a Mama Bear temper!! When you talk to C ask for the address to CP and send them, I'm sure he will feel the love after the fact the same way as when he was suppose to receive it!! The "So MAD" part comes from a human being not paying attention to his/her job that day...karma Carol comes around...chin up Mama!!

Jacqueline, You have a young one too...Geezer!! My cub is an old man compared to you all. lol

Thanks Jacqueline! Maybe they'll get some rest and get energized over the weekend. I got Monday's rundown and it was grueling. Even for a 20 year old!!
