Hmmm....Jamie and his Dad went to the Georgia Tech football game today. I bet both of them "men" come home with red faces. And I'll be sitting there with my smug "told you so!"
Carol - if the eye rolling ever stops, I would like to know!
But, we only have two more full days before he heads to Camp P. Then I'll be wishing for some more eye rolling! Well, maybe because he's leaving his clothes all over my house!! Slipped back into the old ways real quick! He even said today he had to get back to base because it didn't even feel like he was in the military since being home.

Ok - so I suggested to Jamie the sunblock on his ears last night and I got the eye's rolling and the "I don't need ANY sunblock - I'm a man!" What a hoot!! He said there was a guy in bootcamp that didn't go outside without putting it on and everyone used to snicker. I told him at least HE listened to his Mama. Again, the eye's rolled and he informed me with a snear that the "kid" was 35!! Oh my......

Carol, What a relief for C plans all coming together and the contact with his sponsor, I'm sure made him feel connected again!!

We will enjoy Tristan's company starting today until we drive him back to CP on Tuesday. He is so used to only a few hours sleep that he only got that many. Played with the new 7 month old pup Ziggy that my daughter brought home at 3 months...they got on as if they new each other this whole time. lol

Judy - I'm sure yesterday's fiasco is a distant memory (at least I hope it is) now that your son is home. I'm sorry, but I had to giggle because my day was pretty bad from the get-go yesterday also. My husband even called me at lunch time mad about something and by the time I got off the phone with him he was laughing because what he was mad about was nothing compared to what I had expierenced that morning. But, hey it's Friday, our boys are home, your daughter made it home in one piece and our dogs are well-fed, content animals. LOL, it can't get much better than that right?? I try not to set my sights toooo high anymore!!

Have a great day. Only a couple more days until Jamie is on his way to Cali. Gosh, I'm missing him already.

Looks like T's gf is driving out to visit, she lives in Las Vegas. It's a good 6 hour drive for her...I don't think she cares as long as she gets to spend time with him.

How did you know about the feet up and a glass of wine in my hand...Because it was that kinda day!! I usually have wine a couple times a month...not much of a drinker, one 2 many when I was in my twenties. Do you ever sit down at the end of the day and wonder WHY...you had to live through that day?! I always try to ask myself, self what did you learn from this, what was the message?!
