Thanks Carol. I'm excited but I had a rough day today...Started with a call from my youngest, she went to a party in Santa Maria(40 min fro home) last night got drunk, her ride left her after she put a 20 in the gas tank she fell down a flight of stairs banged up her knee and wanted me to drop everything..2 scheduled appts. for the day, shopping for T's favorites and because I left "my girls" 10 yr old dogs with my daughters pup 7 mo. Ziggy in the house for 4 hours and yes, he did his best to clutter up a clean house. I ended up locking my keys in the car after Hubby asked if I could go and look at a paint color on a house...I evidently parked on the red, had to call triple A to unlock, missed my physical thereby appt.Which I really needed it today...OMG what a day, came home stressed out after the drive to Santa Maria and found a perfectly messy home from Ziggy the pup and now I'm waiting for my Sailor...Can anybody beat MyDay?!

Carol, Did you say"Gary Sinise"??? Yes I have a bit of a crush on him...I'll admit, and he can preform on stage as well as act in the movies and Big screen!!

Jacqueline, Yes it is real close about 8 miles away...T is to cheap to pay the 200.00 the airlines want to charge...one way!! It turned out for the better, this way Hubby can visit with his new Corpsman!!

Good Morning Pam, When they say the Navy motto"hurry up and wait" it is in every aspect of the military.

Gosh, can you believe the crazy weather in Arizona...wow!! They got 4 tornado's in one day when usually they may see that the whole year...there saying.

The same happened to Jamie. The shuttle was at 1:00 but his flight didn't leave until 6:30 p.m. Then my flight came into Atlanta 15 minutes after his, had to go find my luggage because it was put on an earlier flight and then got caught in construction traffic on our way home! We finally got home that night around 11:30 p.m. Luckily though my car was already at the airport in Atlanta!

T called early this morning and he said he is wondering around base with nowhere to go until 1300 hours when the bus will pick a bunch of them up and take them to the airport in Chicago. He then will hurry up and wait for his flight to San Diego and then a 5 hour drive home...makes for a really long day.

Pam, Thank You for the compliment...It's like My right of passage to show my own identity now that T has made it into a navy corpsman title and I know that it is a lot easier to put a face with the personality!! lol

I love your new picture! I got tired of looking at that bright yellow top I had on at a wedding we went to back in June. My husband tried to tell me it was toooo bright! Of course, I didn't listen to him. Ha, ha! Have a wonderful time with your son this weekend.
