Linda, we were very fortunate and didn't receive any damage at all.  Now I'm busy helping to find homes for those that lost everything.  It really is a mess for so many folks.  So sorry that you received all that damage.  Was that mostly from the noon time storm that came thru?  That's when the big green garbage cans were flying down my street.  Then, when the BIG tornado came thru around 4:30p the TVA transmission lines behind my home were bouncing up and down about twenty feet when the tornado passed over them just to the west of me and north of you!

Son is scheduled to leave for Japan in 12 days......contact is going to be really fun then. Guess I will need to get a separate clock and calendar to keep track of him.

It's a good day in this Corpsman Mom's World!  Got an email that my son went on his first ambulance run!  As he put it, had the sirens and everything going too!!  I can't believe that only 12 months ago he was in boot!!

Carol - no words, just Navy Mom (((((HUGS)))))))  Hang in there.

Linda - Oh my goodness - so glad your ok.  We're right outside of Atlanta and although we didn't have any damage, places up North are so much worse.  Stay safe, these storms are so brutal here lately.

Ruth VH - YIKES!  It is so wild to see the difference in the "A" school photos at GL and the photos now at CP.  From blizzard to palm trees.
