Welcome Mariann, Your corpsman is arriving at a perfect time of the year to train in Camp Pendleton, California. This 2 month journey will test your cubs endurance, mental and physical abilities and absolutely little to no sleep! But the reward is so well worth it!! Communication with your cub eases up a bit with intermittent calls a night but more freely on weekends!
We look forward to getting to know you and your corpsman and someone will always be here when ever you needs us!
Welcome to the new members of the next class. The training is very demanding physcially and mentally. Here's the website to check out and get more info.
Mariann - the only thing we didn't get a chance to do while my son was at Camp P was skype. They go back to living in close quarters so not much privacy.
I became FMTB moving service on Wednesday night! I hope everyone enjoyed the ceremony. The video was, well, an eye opener! I will be staying in this group, my Corpsman is attached to the Amphibious Unit, about 100 yards from FMTB.
God Bless those who are traveling around the world :)
The gradauation was a really nice and pretty simple one! I was sooo happy that the rain stayed away!!!!
Dmc- So glad that you have your bf back at home! Enjoy your time with him!!
Linda-So glad I got to meet you and your husband! Had a great time at dinner with you! Hope you got to spend some time with your son!
MrsS-sorry we missed you at dinner!
I must say, I am really going to love him not having to go to training for awhile and getting to see him more!! Also that he doesn't have to have a liberty buddy anymore and he is closer to me on the base now!! YAY!! I hope all of you get to hear from your loved ones more often too!!! Thanks to everyone on here that was gave us all such great support and answers to our questions!!!
Congrats to all the new 8404 Devil Doc Corpsman!!!!!!
Congratulations to all our new FMTB graduates!! Thoughts and prayers to all that will be going on to their new stations whether it will be immediately or several weeks or months down the road!
