OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm not much for wine (gives me a headache-now Jack D. I can do-haha). But I'll be fine. I'm going for good company and some kind of food.

Diane is planning for something in March last I heard.

Yes, PIR was awesome beyond belief. I can't wait to get the DVD to share with our family. Glad I didn't watch anyone else's videos so that I could get the full effects of the moment.

Thanks, Kellie. I should've made it more clear since we didn't meet at our Central Fla get together....our son just graduated BC and that's what I was referring to. Diane and Heather helped me though with the correct answer.

Thanks, everybody, that's good to know that it's published in the paper. Since we only get the Sunday paper I called a friend that gets it daily to have her find it for me in the Orlando Sentinel. We have this tiny little paper called the Conway News. I'm sure it won't be in that so I'll call them myself.

Also, just incase anybody needs to ever know (as I checked at USPS, UPS and Fedex today) for the cost of one small box to see which would be cheapest for me to mail Justin's clothes and laptop and USPS was about $3 less than the others.
